Yuqi, who is from China, debuted as a member of iKON in May 2018 and began her solo career in April 2024 with her first mini-album, “YUQI.” With her first solo album, Yuki sold over 550,000 copies within a week of its release. Her title track, “FREAK,” became the first song in the history of Tencent Music’s Korea chart to remain on the chart for 100 consecutive weeks. YUQI’s solo comeback comes approximately one year after she released the single “Motivation” last September. All tracks from the album will be released at 1:00 p.m. on the day of release via various online music platforms. The title of the new album, “Twenty-Seven,” is inspired by Woo Gi’s actual age. In the album artwork released via online channels today, Woo Gi included the caption, “Twenty-seven is a time when, just as a sunflower leaves its shadow behind and grows while gazing only at the sun, one hides the deepest worries behind the brightest smile,” heightening fans’ curiosity about the album. Meanwhile, Woo Gi will hold fan concerts titled after the album in four major Chinese cities: Guangzhou, Chengdu, Beijing, and Shanghai. The detailed schedule will be announced at a later date.
