According to distributor Sony Pictures, “Spider-Man 4” surpassed 9 million cumulative viewers on the morning of the 23rd. This marks the highest number of viewers for any “Spider-Man” film in South Korea.
Since its release on July 29, "Spider-Man 4" has broken records for the fastest-selling films of the year, surpassing 4 million viewers in 7 days, 5 million in 11 days, and 7 million in 19 days.
Having surpassed 9 million viewers, “Spider-Man 4” will host events for moviegoers at CGV and Lotte Cinema starting on the 23rd. The theater chains plan to give away a set of three special still posters capturing moments featuring “Peter Parker,” “MJ,” and “Jean Grey.”
“Spider-Man 4” is an action blockbuster in which Peter Parker—forgotten by everyone following the events of “Spider-Man: No Way Home”—is plunged into even deeper turmoil by the appearance of a mysterious enemy who remembers his true identity and by gaining uncontrollable powers due to a DNA mutation. He must confront new threats to protect those he holds dear. The film stars Tom Holland, Zendaya Coleman, and Sadie Sink.
