Import and distribution company Blue Label Pictures announced on the 23rd that “‘An Ordinary Child’ has confirmed its release on the 29th.” Along with this announcement, the company unveiled two main posters.
“An Ordinary Child” is a film that depicts the special journey of two very different people: Yuiishi, an ordinary boy, and Cocoa, who is deeply committed to environmental issues.
The main posters released on the 23rd feature the tagline “Love can move the world” alongside an image of Cocoa reading a book while Yui-shi playfully strikes up a conversation beside her. Unlike Cocoa, who always speaks out boldly on environmental issues, Yui-shi begins his first-ever environmental campaign simply because he wants to become friends with her.
The delightful chemistry and unexpected changes that emerge as these two completely different people come together are set to deliver not only laughter and emotion but also a message that we need right now.

Another poster features Yui-shi, Cocoa, and Haruto as they embark on their environmental campaign. The vibrant blue hues, reminiscent of a refreshing summer, and the free-spirited, lively appearance of the three perfectly capture the courage and excitement of these characters as they take on the biggest challenge of their lives toward their new goal of environmental activism.
The film “An Ordinary Child” is generating high anticipation as the latest work from Director Omibo, who won the Best Director Award at the 38th Montreal International Film Festival in 2014 for “It Shines Only There.” Director Omi Bo, who has consistently delivered solid storytelling and profound messages through films such as *It Shines Only There* and *You Are a Good Child*, once again delicately captures the emotions of everyday characters in this film. The film has also been officially invited to the 24th New York Asian Film Festival and the 27th Shanghai International Film Festival.
Additionally, Yū Aoi—who has established a distinctive on-screen presence through various works such as the drama *Gas Human* and the films *The Million Yen Girl: Suzuko*, *The Spy’s Wife*, and *Hula Girls*—is set to add depth to the film.
