Miki Kwang-soo said he currently divides his time between Seoul and Jeju and runs a YouTube channel. He drew attention by stating, “My main source of income is hosting events,” adding, “My YouTube revenue alone has exceeded 10 million won a month.” When asked about the size of his assets, Mickey Kwang-soo replied, “I own a home. It’s located in the Yeonnam and Seongsan-dong areas of Seoul.” He went on to explain, “A redevelopment committee was formed quite some time ago, but the project has been stalled.” Miki Kwang-soo shared an anecdote: “Around 2017, I was hosting a lot of events, and at the time, I heard YG CEO Yang Hyun-suk mention on a broadcast that he was close with a real estate agent and received a lot of good leads from him. I had been thinking, ‘I should get close to someone in real estate too,’ and it just so happened that the owner of a nearby real estate agency was a fan of mine.” (Photo: Screenshot from YouTube channel) He continued, “I was living in a jeonse apartment in Yeonnam-dong. At the time, the rent was about 180 million won,” adding, “The owner asked if I was planning to stay there long-term and told me that if I bought it now, I’d save 20 million won.” Miki Kwang-soo revealed that 10 years ago, he purchased a home with a private area of about 15.6 pyeong for 255 million won and has been living there ever since, actively practicing “property investment.” A real estate expert who reviewed Miki Kwang-soo’s purchase contract noted, “He owns a large plot of land,” and concluded, “It was a good purchase.” The expert explained, “The larger the lot, the higher the appraised value—known as the ‘rights value’—and the higher this value is, the less you’ll have to pay in additional contributions during redevelopment.” He continued, “The current market is far beyond 600 to 700 million won. Prices have skyrocketed over the past four months,” and drew attention by predicting, “Since it’s a home in Mapo, once redevelopment occurs, even newly built apartments in Gangbuk these days are fetching around 2 billion won, aren’t they?”
