[Edaily Starin YUN GI BACK Reporter] IVE, having completed their second world tour, is returning to the domestic music scene. With this comeback marking their return after about eight months, attention is focused on how they will incorporate the stage experience they gained through their large-scale overseas tour into their new album.

According to Starship Entertainment, IVE will release their new mini-album “Looks Can Kill” on the 26th of next month. Ahead of that, they will release a pre-release track on October 19 to kick off the comeback campaign in earnest.
A recently released teaser video features a projection mapping performance utilizing high-rise buildings in the city center. The IVE logo fills the building’s exterior, accompanied by the text “IVE SPIN-OFF RELEASE 2026.10.19,” and the panoramic view of downtown Seoul foreshadows the expanded scale of the new release. The intense visual style, reminiscent of superhero movies, also caught the eye.
This comeback comes approximately eight months after their second full-length album, “Revive Plus.” At the time, the double title track “Bang Bang” swept the top spots on major domestic music charts, achieving a “Perfect All-Kill” (PAK), and IVE set a record for their sixth career “All-Kill” (PAK). On music shows, they recorded a total of nine wins—eight for “Bang Bang” and one for “Black Hole.” This brings their cumulative total of music show wins since debut to 83.
Their success extended overseas as well. “Bang Bang” entered major U.S. Billboard charts, including the “Global 200,” “Global (Excl. U.S.),” and “World Digital Song Sales,” and maintained its position at the top of major domestic charts for several months after its release, enjoying long-term popularity.
IVE recently expanded their connection with their global fanbase by touring major cities across Asia, Oceania, and North America as part of their second world tour, “SHOW WHAT I AM.” They performed at Japan’s Kyocera Dome and Tokyo Dome, and their North American tour was expanded to a total of eight cities, including three in Canada.
The experience gained through these large-scale tours is a key highlight of this new release. It remains to be seen what musical changes IVE—who have consistently demonstrated strength in domestic music chart performance and music show appearances—will showcase now that they’ve added overseas stage experience to their repertoire.
Starting with the release of a pre-release track on October 19, IVE will sequentially unveil various teaser contents before officially releasing their new mini-album, “Lux Can Kill,” on the 26th.
