[Edaily Starin KIM HYUNSIK Reporter] KBS 1TV’s new daily drama “Mom’s Gone Crazy” premieres on the 28th.

“Mom’s Gone Crazy” is a family drama that follows the intertwined lives of five mothers—each with their own unique stories—including Jo Mi-mi (played by Kim Hee-jung), the owner of “Mi-mi’s Samgyetang,” which serves as the main setting of the series, as well as Jeon Jin-hee (played by Kang Kyung-heon), Hwang Geum-soon (played by Kim Young-ok), Choi Sun-deok (played by Yang Hee-kyung), Park Ji-young (played by Jo Mi-ryeong)—each with their own unique stories—and their children.
The series is led by Producer Seong Jun-hae, who directed KBS 2TV’s “The Ironing Family” and KBS 1TV’s “Go for It, My Life,” and writer Na Seung-hyun, who previously worked on KBS 1TV’s “Walk Only on Flower-Lined Paths” and “Blinded by Love.” The cast includes Jung Min-ah as Kang Da-mi, Dong-ha as Cha Seung-yoon, Lee Han-wi as Kang Hak-sung, Nam Seong-jin as Cha In-sung, and Kang Eun-tak as Kang Gang-nam.
“Mom’s Gone Crazy” is the follow-up to “Our Happy Days,” which wrapped up with peak and final episode ratings of 11.6% and 11.3%, respectively (based on Nielsen Korea’s nationwide figures). It will air every Monday through Friday at 8:30 p.m., starting today.
The production team stated, “From the very first episode, we plan to unfold a diverse story that alternates between laughter and relatable moments,” adding, “Please stay tuned to see what stories and hidden truths lie within these seemingly ordinary families, and to find out exactly what drives these moms to go ‘crazy.’”
