On the 28th, Han Ga-in posted on her YouTube channel, “Lady Han Ga-in,” stating, “I have seen the concerns raised regarding the albumin product I recently introduced on YouTube, and I am posting this to clarify the facts.” She added, “That video was ‘self-purchased’ content—I introduced a product I bought and used myself, without any compensation or sponsorship. As I mentioned previously, I assure you that there was no falsehood regarding whether the video was an advertisement,” she wrote.
She continued, “As a matter of principle, our channel displays the label ‘Contains Paid Advertising’ when uploading content to ensure viewers can clearly identify paid advertisements,” and apologized, saying, “However, regardless of whether it was an advertisement or not, I was not cautious enough to introduce health-related products based solely on my personal experience.”
Han Ga-in explained, “I began purchasing and consuming this product regularly after my energy levels dropped following childbirth, and I recommended it to viewers because I personally felt my condition had improved. However, through this incident, I’ve realized just how careful one must be when sharing information based solely on subjective feelings without rigorous verification.” She added, “I sincerely apologize for causing confusion and concern due to my lack of careful judgment.”
She emphasized, “From now on, even for products I’ve personally purchased and tried, I will strictly verify objective facts before sharing them,” adding, “I will listen closely to the valuable feedback from my viewers and create content with even greater care.”
Previously, in 2024, Han Ga-in introduced an albumin product she had taken through her YouTube channel. However, the YouTube channel “Death Fox” recently raised suspicions of exaggerated advertising regarding oral albumin products and mentioned Han Ga-in’s introduction of the product.
At the time, while introducing the product, Han Ga-in said, “It’s definitely effective when you can’t receive an IV drip.” Critics pointed out that it was difficult to substantiate the effectiveness based on this statement.
Ultimately, as the allegations spread, Han Ga-in issued an apology through a written statement.
