[Edaily Reporter Ham Ji-Hyun ] DL E&C ( DL E&C CO., LTD.(375500)) announced on the 30th that it has partnered with 10 financial institutions to ensure the successful implementation of the “Seongsu Strategic Redevelopment Zone District 2 Housing Redevelopment Project”—an urban renewal project valued at around 2 trillion won—while also meeting the diverse financial needs of the project’s members.

DL E&C CO., LTD. announced on the 30th that it had signed a “Premium Financial Services Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Seongsu District 2” with a total of 10 financial institutions, including the five major commercial banks (KB Kookmin Bank, Shinhan Bank, Hana Bank, Woori Bank, and NH Nonghyup Bank) and the five major securities firms (KB Securities, NH INVESTMENT & SECURITIES, SamsungSecurities, Korea Investment & Securities, and KIWOOM Securities).

This agreement was established to provide association members with differentiated financial information and professional services, taking into account the symbolic significance and future value of the Seongsu 2 District. According to the company, the 10 financial institutions participated in the agreement after highly evaluating the future value of the Seongsu 2 District as well as DL E&C CO., LTD.’s financial soundness (credit rating: AA-) and corporate credibility.

DL E&C CO., LTD. plans to focus the premium residential expertise it has accumulated through “Acro Seoul Forest” on the Seongsu 2 District project. In particular, based on collaboration with top-tier financial institutions in various fields, the company plans to introduce customized financial service programs capable of meeting the diverse financial needs of association members, including project costs, relocation expenses, and contribution fees.

DL E&C CO., LTD. official stated, “The Seongsu 2 District is more than just a redevelopment project; it is an iconic project that will lead Seoul’s future residential culture,” adding, “Through collaboration with Korea’s top financial institutions, we will focus all our capabilities on ensuring the project’s success by providing association members with differentiated financial services and premium lifestyle value.”

The Seongsu 2 District redevelopment project involves the construction of apartment complexes and ancillary facilities on a 131,980-square-meter site in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. The residential buildings will range from 6 stories underground to 65 stories above ground, while the mixed-use buildings will range from 5 stories underground to 44 stories above ground. The construction cost proposed by the association is 2.0137 trillion won. DL E&C CO., LTD. was selected as the preferred bidder for the Seongsu 2 District project on the 23rd.
