[Edaily Starin KIM HYUNSIK Reporter] Winter, a member of the group aespa, missed the world tour concert held in Dallas, U.S., on the 29th (local time) due to health issues.

On the 30th, her agency, SM Entertainment, announced via the fan communication platform Weverse, “Winter visited a hospital for a thorough examination and was diagnosed with shingles.”
They added, “Winter had been experiencing symptoms of poor health recently but had continued to participate in performances out of her determination to stand on stage with the other members,” explaining, “Even after the diagnosis, she showed a strong desire to participate in the scheduled performances; however, following the medical team’s recommendation that full recovery is the top priority, we decided after careful discussion that she would not participate in the Dallas concert.”
aespa is currently in the midst of their fourth world tour, “SYNK: COMPLaeXITY.” The Dallas concert proceeded with a trio lineup consisting of Karina, Giselle, and Ningning.
The agency stated, “Winter is deeply disappointed that she was unable to join the Dallas concert and has expressed her apologies to the fans for having to deliver this sudden news,” adding, “We will do our best to ensure Winter recovers her health so she can meet with fans again.”
