On the 1st, SAMSUNG BIOLOGICS announced that it will participate in “BIO JAPAN 2026,” Asia’s largest bio and pharmaceutical exhibition, to be held in Yokohama, Japan, from the 7th to the 9th. This marks the company’s fourth consecutive year of participation since 2023. Following last year’s event, the company will operate a standalone booth again this year to secure clients in Japan and across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
At the event, the company will showcase its end-to-end services—encompassing research, development, and manufacturing—as well as its large-scale production capacity. On the first day, James Choi, Vice President of Sales Support, will deliver a presentation titled “Integrated Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) Services Responding to the Evolving Needs of Pharmaceutical and Biotech Companies.” Following that, Choi Yeon-jeong, a researcher from the NUON Group, is scheduled to present research findings on “Optimization of Antibody-Drug Conjugate (ADC) Conjugation Processes Using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).”
The company will also participate in “CPHI Milan 2026,” taking place in Milan, Italy. The event runs from the 6th to the 8th. SAMSUNG BIOLOGICS plans to meet with global big pharma companies and potential clients at its dedicated booth to showcase its contract manufacturing (CMO) capabilities, global production hubs, and multi-modality technologies.
From the 12th to the 15th, the company will participate in “World ADC San Diego” in San Diego, USA, where it will operate a booth and host presentation sessions and poster presentations. Mark Studer, Head of the ADC & mRNA Operations Team, will speak on the topic “From Assets to Operations: Key Success Factors for ADC GMP Production Ramp-up,” while Kim Ji-na, Head of the ADC Platform Discovery Group, and Oh Se-kyu, a professional in the Organoid Technology Group, will share research findings on “bispecific ADCs” and “patient-derived organoids,” respectively, through poster presentations.
In South Korea, the company will participate in “Bio Plus Co., Ltd. Interphex Korea 2026 (BIX),” taking place at COEX in Seoul from the 28th to the 30th. Lee Tae-hee, Executive Vice President of the Antibody Cell Purification Process Development Team, is scheduled to present on strategies for developing bispecific and multispecific antibodies.
