[Edaily Starin Gim Ga Yeong Reporter] Hyun-sook, a contestant on Season 33 of “I’m Single,” apologized for her behavior on the show.
On the 1st, Season 33 contestant Hyun-sook posted on her social media, writing, “I’m Hyun-sook from Season 33, who cried, laughed, and did everything I wanted to do on ‘Solo Nara,’” and added, “The five nights and six days I spent on ‘Solo Nara’ were the happiest week of my life.”
She said, “My mood went up and down like a roller coaster, but I think I enjoyed it without any regrets,” while also noting, “I realized once again that I’m really bad at controlling my emotions.”
She continued, “It won’t change overnight, but I’ll make a daily effort to cultivate a more generous heart and let go of negative thoughts by reading books and listening to encouraging words,” and apologized for her on-air behavior, saying, “If my words or actions ever made anyone uncomfortable, please forgive me generously and look upon me kindly. I’m so grateful to everyone who watched with interest and cheered me on.”
Earlier, Hyun-sook from the 33rd season revealed on “I’m Single” that she places great importance on a potential partner’s occupation. During a conversation with Sang-cheol, a five-year veteran postal worker, she asked if he had any plans to switch careers, and viewers who saw this pointed out that her words and actions showed a lack of respect for his profession.
She said, “Now that the 33rd season has come to an end, I’m moved to tears. Goodbyes are this difficult,” adding, “No matter where I am, I’ll be sure to post updates here regularly, so please continue to follow my journey.”
