On the 1st, Lee Sang-soon posted a photo of the radio booth on his social media with the caption, “It’s been a while.”
On that day, he returned to his show, MBC FM4U’s “A Perfect Day with Lee Sang-soon,” and greeted listeners by saying, “I’ve been away for a long time,” adding, “I was away for over a month, and I feel both sorry and grateful to all of you.”
He continued, “I wasn’t feeling well for a short while, but resting helped me recover,” and noted, “After a little rest, my energy has returned.” He also revealed, “I’m not fully recovered yet, but I wanted to see you all again soon, so I told the production team I wanted to return on the first day of October.”
Previously, Lee Sang-soon had taken a break due to a decline in brain function. He explained, “Following the medical team’s recommendation that I needed rest, I’ve had to take a break from the radio to recuperate,” adding, “They said I’ll be able to recover gradually if I get plenty of rest, so I’ll use this opportunity to take my time and fully restore my health before returning.”
Lee Sang-soon, who returned after a break of about a month that began on August 26, confided, “I plan to take frequent breaks from now on,” adding, “I’ll take vacations occasionally and take it easy so as not to compromise my health.”
