[Edaily Reporter An Yu-ri ] NC (NCsoftCorporation(036570)) reported that its massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) “Aion 2” surpassed 400,000 peak concurrent users on the first day of its global launch.
NC announced on the 6th that “Aion 2” officially launched on the 5th, local time. The game was released to users in North America, South America, Europe, and Japan via the PC platform Steam and the company’s own platform, Purple.
The game surpassed 400,000 peak concurrent users upon the start of official service.
Aion 2 had been offering early access to Founders Pack purchasers since the 30th of last month. During this period, it maintained the No. 1 spot on Steam’s “Top Sellers” chart globally and ranked No. 1 in 15 countries. On the 6th, it also topped Steam’s “Popular New Games” and “Featured Free Games” charts.
Global service is operated across four regional server zones: North America, South America, Europe, and Asia (Japan). The game supports eight languages, including English, Japanese, French, German, and Spanish.
