[Edaily Reporter kim mi-kyung ] Nongshim(004370)has launched a campaign to attract local consumers by floating a giant Shin Ramyun cup sculpture on the River Thames, a symbol of London, England.

Nongshim announced on the 7th that it conducted a brand campaign on the evening of the 6th (local time) on the River Thames in London, featuring a Shin Ramyun cup sculpture approximately 6 meters tall. The campaign toured iconic London landmarks—including Tower Bridge, the London Eye, and Big Ben, which attract more than 38 million visitors annually—to raise awareness of the Shin Ramyun brand among global tourists and Londoners.

Nongshim held a campaign on the 6th (local time) on the River Thames in London, UK, to showcase a giant Shin Ramyun cup sculpture.

This campaign was planned around the slogan “Work done. Day done. SHIN ME,” which conveys the message, “After a busy day, enjoy a moment of relaxation with Shin Ramyun in your own personal space.”

According to Nongshim, the giant sculpture—standing approximately 6 meters tall—garnered a strong positive response thanks to its details reminiscent of actual Shin Ramyun. The company stated that the installation captivated the attention of visitors to the Thames with its nighttime lighting, large chopsticks, and a vivid depiction of steam rising from hot ramen. The installation set off from London’s Royal Docks on the afternoon of the 6th and traveled along the Thames to areas near the London Eye and Big Ben, leaving a strong impression throughout central London.

The back of the sculpture also featured “SHIN TO WIN,” a large-scale consumer promotion currently underway across the UK. Nongshim is running this event for approximately 12 weeks, through the 31st of this month, by including scratch-off coupons in Shin Ramyun multipacks sold at major local retailers such as Tesco, B&M, and Sainsbury’s, with cash prizes awarded to winners.

A Nongshim spokesperson stated, “The River Thames is an iconic space where the daily lives of Londoners and world-renowned landmarks come together,” adding, “Through this campaign, we plan to offer British consumers a new brand experience—enjoying their own moment of relaxation with Shin Ramyun after a busy day.”
