[Edaily Reporter KIM SAE-MI ] Pharmicell(005690)is participating in the global pharmaceutical and biotech exhibition “CPHI Milan” (CPHI Milan 2026) to expand its business in nucleic acid drug materials, such as methoxypolyethylene glycol (mPEG) and nucleosides.
Pharmicell announced on the 7th that it will participate in CPHI Milan, which is being held in Milan, Italy, through the 8th.
CPHI is a global exhibition covering all sectors of the pharmaceutical and biotech value chain. This year’s event is expected to draw more than 2,900 companies and over 62,000 visitors from approximately 170 countries.
Pharmicell will operate an exhibition booth in the Korea Pavilion, showcasing mPEG—used as a pharmaceutical and biotech material—along with related polyethylene glycol (PEG) derivatives and nucleosides as its main products. In particular, the company will showcase its nucleic acid material product line—including deoxynucleoside triphosphates (dNTPs) and nucleoside triphosphates (NTPs), which are used in the research, development, and production of oligonucleotides and nucleic acid-based pharmaceuticals—as well as its newly developed nucleoside products.
During the event, the company will also hold business meetings with existing clients and potential new customers. The company plans to review the sales and supply status of products currently supplied to UCB, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Clariant, Gannet Bio, Curapath, and Innovassynth, and discuss demand forecasts and medium- to long-term supply plans. The company will also assess customer demand and requirements for newly developed products to explore opportunities for further business collaboration.
A Pharmicell official stated, “Through this exhibition, we plan to identify the diverse needs and requirements of our global pharmaceutical and biotech clients and raise awareness of our company and products,” adding, “Based on this, we will expand sales in the global market and secure a mid- to long-term business foundation.”
