[E-Daily Reporter Lee So-Hyun ] “I heard there’s a monthly rent subsidy for young people in my neighborhood. Can I apply for it? Please tell me how to apply.”
If you ask this question to “AI for Everyone,” showcased at the KTCorporation(030200) booth at “AI Festa 2026” held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, on the 7th, the AI does more than just list relevant webpages. It understands the intent behind the question, reads the program announcement and attached documents, and summarizes the eligibility requirements and application process. This reduces the time users would otherwise spend navigating multiple sites and reading and comparing lengthy announcements to just a single conversation.

It was designed to allow users to experience AI services closely tied to daily life, such as travel reservations, shopping searches, wedding guest outfit recommendations, math problem-solving, financial research, guidance on moving-related administrative procedures, and real estate searches. The vision behind “AI for Everyone,” unveiled by KTCorporation that day, is “Beyond Search to Action.” Led by KTCorporation, the initiative brings together Daum, Upstage, Motif, NC AI, SALTLUX Inc., and Rebellion to integrate various domestically developed AI models and everyday services into a single platform. While it appears to users as a single AI, behind the scenes, multiple models and services work in tandem, dividing roles based on the nature and difficulty of the query.
The on-site exhibition provided an intuitive demonstration of this concept. At the kiosks, visitors could experience everyday AI applications such as Danawa shopping search, Musinsa wedding guest outfit recommendations, Kwanda math problem-solving, DeepSearch financial research, SALTLUX Inc moving-related inquiries, and Zigbang real estate search. There was also an experience where visitors could use NC AI technology to create 3D characters by entering text and then print them using a 3D printer.
Cha Kyung-hoon, Team Leader of KTCorporation’s Agentik AI Platform, described “Everyone’s AI” as “a nationwide AI initiative designed to enable all citizens to use AI easily and conveniently.” The core strategy is “Ieum Inside.” The vision is to enable users to access “AI for Everyone” not only through standalone apps and websites but also within services they already use, such as Daum and Danawa. Moving forward, the plan is to continue integrating partner services in areas like shopping, finance, real estate, and education to expand the ecosystem.
At the center of this integration of various AI systems is KTCorporation’s “Token Factory.” It analyzes the difficulty and nature of a query to select the appropriate model, and for simple tasks, it deploys relatively smaller models to reduce costs and computational load. Team Leader Cha said, “By combining related technologies such as model routing and prompt compression, we can expect efficiency improvements of about 16–20 percent.”

“AI for All” will begin a closed beta test (CBT) this month for a limited number of users. Lee Kyung-nam, Head of the Daum Division, stated, “We plan to validate core features in October, expand the scale of participation and scope of tasks in November, and launch the service officially in December.” Initially, the service will focus on answering questions in natural language regarding weather, lifestyle information, stocks, government policies, public figures, content, and real estate; it will later expand its functionality to include actual actions such as booking accommodations or scheduling appointments.
However, as AI becomes more action-oriented, personal information and security remain key challenges. Even in the case of monthly rent support for young people, the company is prioritizing a approach where the AI guides users on the necessary forms and how to fill them out, rather than automatically completing or submitting applications with personal information. Lee explained, “While using personal information makes the service more convenient, there is a risk of data leaks,” adding, “We do not plan to include all of the user’s personally identifiable information.” Regarding reservations and payments, there is a risk that AI could misinterpret user intent and perform unintended actions; therefore, the division plans to validate permission settings and methods for storing and managing information during the beta period.
As the number of connected partner services (third-party services) increases, security risks may also rise during the transfer of information between services. Team Leader Cha emphasized, “Account and permission management are crucial,” and revealed that they are preparing a security governance framework that combines the personal information management systems of KTCorporation and Daum. He also explained that they are establishing common integration rules to enable different services to exchange data securely using A2A (communication between Agent AI) and MCP (connection between AI and external services) technologies.
KTCorporation also plans to introduce an integrated login system in the first half of next year that will allow users to access partner services after logging in once with their Daum account. This system serves as the foundation for seamlessly connecting information found through search to actual actions, such as making reservations or submitting applications. Division Head Lee said, “We are preparing to introduce an account linkage system in the first half of 2027 so that users can access partner services with a single login.”
