[Edaily Reporter Shin Yeong-bin ] #NEWEN AI, a provider of industry-specific artificial intelligence (AI) analytics, is joining KOLON CORPORATION’s AI collaboration ecosystem. The two companies will combine their technologies and customer networks to expand AI transformation (AX) initiatives in industrial settings, such as manufacturing.

NEWEN AI announced on the 8th that it has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) to participate in the “KOLON CORPORATION AI Alliance” operated by KOLON CORPORATION.

The KOLON CORPORATION AI Alliance is a collaborative body that connects AI technology and solution companies with actual industrial clients to support commercialization. Launched in June 2024, it currently has approximately 100 participating companies.

Through this partnership, NEWEN AI will expand the application of its proprietary AI analytics solutions to KOLON CORPORATION’s industrial clients in sectors such as manufacturing, finance, construction, and distribution. The two companies plan to identify service models tailored to on-site needs and pursue joint business ventures.

NEWEN AI provides “Queta AI,” an AI service for all industries, and “Queta Enterprise,” a customized analytics service for businesses. The company focuses on building industry-specific AI analytics environments by utilizing ontology technology to structure the relationships and meanings within a company’s internal data.

KOLON CORPORATION leverages a network of over 1,000 vendors and partners—built through more than 30 years of IT distribution and systems integration (SI) operations—to connect participating companies’ technologies with customers’ on-site operations. It also supports the commercialization process, from proof of concept (PoC) to actual commercial deployment.

This year, the company plans to expand its AX pre-packaged solutions—which can be immediately applied across various industries and business functions—as well as its domain-specific AX integrated platforms. NEWEN AI also plans to collaborate with KOLON CORPORATION to develop industry-tailored AX services and broaden its solution distribution channels.

Bae Seong-hwan, CEO of NEWEN AI, stated, “By combining NEWEN AI’s ontology-based AI analytics technology with KOLON CORPORATION’s business capabilities, we will identify and expand AX services applicable to industrial settings,” adding, “We will enhance our customized manufacturing AX services and expand our AI solution distribution channels.”
