[Edaily Starin Gim Ga Yeong Reporter] Girl group Lisenne is set to make its first appearance on a major terrestrial TV news program.
On the 8th, SBS announced, “Lysenne will appear on ‘SBS 8 News.’” The five members of Lisenne—Won-i, Liv, Minami, Mei, and Jenna—will join anchor Lee Hyun-young to look back on their activities since their 2024 debut and share their honest feelings about how their signature song, “LOVE ATTACK,” has enjoyed a resurgence in popularity and continues to be loved by fans. They will also open up about why performing on stage was so crucial to them and what drove them to persevere through difficult times. Additionally, the five members—each with their own distinct personalities—will share the secret to maintaining their strong teamwork. They are also set to provide an update on preparations for their fourth mini-album, “PULSE,” scheduled for release on the 3rd of next month. Lysanne became the center of a retro-hit craze after leader Won-i visited her hometown of Geoje City last April to film content and shouted, “Geoje, yaho!” The scene not only went viral as a meme but also helped propel “LOVE ATTACK” to the top of major music charts in a retro-hit surge. Their remake “Pretty Girl,” released last August, and “Deja Vu,” a track from their second single album released last July, have also gained popularity one after another, solidifying their status as a leading girl group. Currently, Lisenne is proving their popularity by appearing on numerous variety shows. Meanwhile, “SBS 8 News,” featuring Lisenne, will air on Sunday, the 11th, at 8 p.m.
