The site stated that this decision is not a reaction to the recently canceled fan exhibition—which was interpreted as a protest against T.O.P’s relationship with Nana—but rather the result of a long-standing lack of communication and the agency’s repeated attempts to shirk responsibility.

On the 9th, CHOIDOT announced the end of its operations via its official social media accounts, stating, “We can no longer tolerate T.O.P and TOPSPOT PICTURES’ refusal to face reality, their evasion of responsibility, and their attitude of taking fans’ dedication for granted.” This comes approximately 20 years after the site first launched on August 24, 2006.
The site’s administrators pointed out that while T.O.P introduced his solo album *ANOTHER DIMENSION* as “an album for the fans,” the stage performances and direct communication that fans had been waiting for were insufficient. They also claimed that the fan site had shouldered the burden of not only promoting the album and supporting fans but also responding to inquiries from both domestic and international sources. They explained that, in the absence of official communication channels, the agency only requested post edits and photo deletions when it was convenient for them.
They also emphasized that the recently canceled exhibition “OFF GRID: NEW GROUND” was not a reaction to his romantic relationship. According to the site’s administrators, the exhibition was prepared based on an expected 300 visitors and a budget of approximately 9 million won, but only about 20 people applied during the first week. Even after extending the application period, participation remained low, causing the estimated financial burden on the administrators to rise to between 6 million and 7 million won, leading them to cancel the event.
Choi Seung-hyun.com stated, “Fans’ love and support are not something to be used when convenient and ignored when inconvenient,” and announced that it would respond based on its archived records if distortions of the facts or malicious criticism and threats continue in the future.
T.O.P and Nana confirmed their relationship on the 2nd. It is reported that the two met while filming a music video and began dating around last June.
