Shin Min-a, who returned to BIFF after a long absence, said, “It’s been almost 10 years since ‘My Love, My Bride,’” adding, “I’m here promoting the drama ‘The Remarried Empress,’ which has led me to participate in ‘Actors’ House. I’m delighted that so many of you have joined us.”

Marking the 25th anniversary of her acting debut, Shin Min-a said, “I feel like I’ve been running hard ever since then.” She continued, “I’m happy to still be active today thanks to the consistent support and love I’ve received from so many people.”

Shin Min-a, who debuted at age 15, recalled that time, saying, “Looking back now, I think I wanted even a little escape from my repetitive daily routine.” She added with a smile, “I also think I wanted to grow up quickly. There was a sense of pride in working alongside adults.”

Shin Min-ah said, “I believe this profession is my destiny.” She revealed her deep affection for acting, stating, “I want to tell my past self not to forget that passion and that spirit,” and added, “My desire to keep running never stopped, and my drive to do what I wanted was even stronger.”

Shin Min-a debuted as a fashion magazine model in 1998 and made her screen acting debut in the 2001 film *Volcano High*. She has appeared in *Madeleine*, *Sweet Life*, *Kitchen*, *My Love, My Bride*, and the TV dramas *Beautiful Days*, *The Devil*, *My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho*, *Oh My Venus*, *Coastal Village Cha-Cha-Cha*, *Our Blues*, and *Bad Blood*. This year, she helped drive the box office success of the film *Pupil*.

She is currently preparing for the release of the Disney+ series “The Remarried Empress.” In the series, she plays the role of Nabi, the perfect empress of the Dongdae Empire, and stars alongside Joo Ji-hoon, Lee Jong-suk, and Lee Se-young.
