[Edaily Starin YUN GI BACK Reporter] Singer and producer Lee Hae-in took the dance stage for the first time in 10 years, proving she’s still got what it takes. Together with Natti from the group Kiss of Life, she reinterpreted one of BoA’s signature songs, showcasing both her extensive stage experience and the significance of this new challenge. (Photo: Screenshot from KBS2’s “Happy Together—It’s Good Not to Be Alone”) On the 9th, Lee Hae-in took the final stage as part of “Inti Band,” a group she formed with Natti, during Episode 11 of KBS2’s “Happy Together—It’s Good Not to Be Alone” (Happy Together). The two performed BoA’s “No. 1” in perfect harmony during the final competition held along the Han River. The performance drew particular attention as it marked Lee Hae-in’s first time performing both dance and vocals together in about 10 years. She kicked off the performance with her signature clear voice and steady live vocals, and during the dance break with Natti, she energized the crowd with a dynamic performance. Toward the end of the song, she added emotional depth, rounding out a rich and full-bodied performance. The time the two have spent together and their relationship also added meaning to the performance. Having supported each other throughout the competition, they moved beyond rivalry to harmonize through music, winning over the audience. Kang Hyung-ho of Forestella, who watched the performance, praised them, saying, “Singing and dancing at the same time isn’t easy, but seeing them pull it off with such ease made me think they’re true veterans,” adding, “Their consideration for one another was evident in their singing and expressions, which doubled the synergy.” Minami of Lisenne also noted that the performance brought to mind the duo’s hard work and their story. Lee Hae-in is currently expanding her scope beyond her work as an artist to include a career as a producer. As the Chief Creative Officer (CCO) of the entertainment company All My Anecdotes, she is involved in the launch of the virtual girl group OWIS and the discovery of new artists. This performance held special significance as it marked the first time in a long while that she personally showcased her talents as a singer, having previously supported junior artists behind the scenes. “Hae-tu” will air its final episode on the 16th at 8:30 p.m. The final performances of the remaining six teams and the ultimate winner are set to be revealed.
