[Edaily Reporter JAEMIN SONG ] SamsungElectronics’ “Bespoke AI Family Hub” refrigerator and “Moving Style” portable screen have been selected as innovative smart home products in a product evaluation by U.S. Forbes.
SamsungElectronics announced on the 12th that both products won the “2026 Smart Home Awards” announced by “Forbes Beted,” Forbes’ product review platform.
Forbes Betted, a product review outlet launched in 2020, established the Smart Home Awards for the first time this year. After experts in various fields spent seven months personally using and testing hundreds of products in real-life living spaces, they selected a total of 50 products across seven categories, including kitchen and appliances, cleaning, home office, and home entertainment.
The Bespoke AI Family Hub refrigerator was featured first among the 50 award-winning products and was the only refrigerator to make the list.
Forbes Betted highlighted the “Beverage Center”—featuring a systematic storage system, a water dispenser, and an automatic water refill tank—as a key strength. It also noted that the 32-inch screen on the front allows users to access everyday functions such as a calendar, web browser, weather updates, photo gallery, and music.
A reviewer who tested the product firsthand noted that the Family Hub refrigerator “transforms the kitchen into the home’s control center.” The feature that allows users to check and manage stored ingredients via an internal camera also received high praise. The reviewer explained that users can view the contents of the refrigerator remotely via the Samsung mobile app, which helps reduce duplicate purchases during grocery shopping.
This marks the third time the Family Hub refrigerator has received the highest rating from Forbes Betted. It was named the overall top product in the “Best Refrigerators” evaluation in May of this year and also took the top spot in the “Best Smart Refrigerators” evaluation last October.
The “Moving Style” portable screen was selected as the winner in the home office category. It was praised for its versatility in both work and leisure, as it features adjustable height and a rotating screen that allows users to watch vertical videos, such as short-form content.
The ability to stream content directly from the monitor or watch live channels and on-demand content via “Samsung TV Plus” was also cited as a key advantage. Forbes Betted noted that the product, priced under $900, has expanded consumer choice.
MovingStyle was also named the “Best 4K Wheel Stand Monitor” in the “Best 4K Monitors of 2026” evaluation released last August by PC Magazine, a U.S. IT publication.
