[E-Daily Reporter Lee So-Hyun ] #Nota Inc. is applying its optimization technology to industrial sites, which reduces server setup costs for AI video surveillance by up to 85% and doubles the number of video channels that can be analyzed using the same server resources. The technology is currently being used at industrial safety sites at about 20 companies, including KOLON INDUSTRIES.

Nota Inc. announced on the 13th that it will showcase “NOTA Vision Agent,” a vision-language model (VLM)-based video surveillance solution, at the “2026 Korea Construction & Safety Expo” to be held at KINTEX in Ilsan from the 14th to the 16th.

Nota Inc. Vision Agent is a solution that analyzes objects, behaviors, and contextual situations in video footage in real time to assist site managers in assessing risks and responding to them.

The AI agent explains the analysis results in natural language and automatically generates reports summarizing key points, thereby reducing the workload associated with reviewing video footage and documenting situations.

Up to twice as many video channels on the same server

The key lies in AI model lightweighting and hardware optimization technologies.

Nota Inc. reduced the model’s computational load and memory usage while improving execution performance by tailoring it to the computational characteristics of each hardware component.

The company explained that this allows for up to twice as many video channels to be analyzed with the same server resources compared to previous systems, or reduces server deployment costs by up to 85%.

It can run in a variety of environments, including servers, the cloud, and mobile and edge DEVICES.

Companies can expand their monitoring scope by either utilizing their existing infrastructure or selecting hardware that meets their budget and performance requirements.

Deployed at Over 20 Sites, Including KOLON INDUSTRIES

Currently, the Nota Vision Agent is deployed at industrial safety sites at over 20 companies, including KOLON INDUSTRIES.

It is used for heavy equipment safety management, verifying compliance with work procedures, detecting hazardous situations, and confirming the use of personal protective equipment such as hard hats, masks, and gloves.

Nota Inc. is expanding its scope of application beyond industrial safety to include Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), selective monitoring, and manufacturing.

The company explained that it has accumulated experience in optimizing various AI models and hardware environments by supplying AI model lightweighting and optimization technologies to SamsungElectronics, Arm, FuriosaAI, and Mobilint.

Expanding into Construction, Manufacturing, and Transportation

At this exhibition, Nota will present use cases tailored to each company’s work environment and safety management needs, based on its real-world field experience.

For interested companies among those consulting at the booth, Nota Inc.’s construction safety experts will visit their sites in person to diagnose risk factors and propose improvement plans utilizing AI agents.

The company will also run hands-on programs for attendees. When visitors enter a restricted area while wearing protective gear—such as hard hats, masks, and gloves—Nota Inc.’s Vision Agent will detect in real time whether they are wearing the required protective gear and whether they are authorized to enter the restricted area.

Chae Myeong-su, CEO of Nota Inc., stated, “As companies increasingly adopt AI, it is becoming increasingly important not only to secure good models but also to ensure they can operate efficiently on existing computing infrastructure.” He added, “Based on the application experience we have accumulated in industrial safety, we will expand our AI optimization technologies and solutions to various fields such as manufacturing, construction, and transportation.”
