Nam Ji-hyun and Kim Jae-young will appear as guests on the episode of SBS’s “Whenever I Get the Chance” airing on the 13th.
Kim Jae-young confesses that his school days were a complete 180-degree turn from how he is now. “I was actually overweight when I was younger,” he reveals. “I started modeling after I lost weight.” Yoo Jae-suk is surprised by Kim Jae-young’s unexpected past—having successfully lost as much as 30 kg—and marvels, “With Jae-young’s looks, he was bound to make his debut one way or another.”
Meanwhile, on this episode, Kim Jae-young discovers an unexpected talent during the “hair tie slingshot” game. After mimicking Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok’s form and taking a few practice shots, Kim Jae-young confidently declares, “Let’s get right to it.” However, once he actually picks up the slingshot, his cautious aiming process ends up holding him back. Yoo Jae-suk initially offered calm coaching, saying, “Jae-young, just make it four seconds faster,” but as the time dragged on, he reportedly pleaded, “Jae-young, throw it already while I’m still being nice,” sending the set into fits of laughter.
Meanwhile, “Whenever There’s a Chance” is a “gap-hunting” variety show that delivers luck during the brief moments of downtime encountered in everyday life. It gained popularity after Season 1 premiered in 2024 and has continued through Season 4. In Season 4, a diverse lineup of guests—including Hyun Bin, Woo Do-hwan, Joo Woo-jae, John Park, Young K, Yoo Seung-ho, Byun Yo-han, and Noh Jae-won—are taking on the challenges of the game.
