[Edaily Reporter SONG YOUNG-DOO ] CLASSYS Inc.(214150)is expanding its European business with its new products, “QuadSay” and “Viclara.” The company’s strategy is to broaden its reach in the local market by adding RF microneedling and integrated skincare devices to its product lineup, which has traditionally focused on ultrasound and high-frequency lifting equipment.
CLASSYS Inc. announced on the 13th that it held a European user meeting on the 10th at the Park Plaza London Riverbank in London, UK, where it announced the official European launch of QuadSay and plans to launch Viclara in December. Approximately 100 people, including representatives from major European distributors and medical professionals, attended the event to learn about the technical features and clinical applications of the new products.
QuadSay is a platform that combines invasive and non-invasive radiofrequency (RF) technologies. It is designed to address a variety of skin concerns, including RF microneedling using micro-needles. CLASSYS Inc. plans to position QuadSay as the flagship product for its expansion into the European RF microneedling market.
Dr. Jeffrey Antimario, a U.S.-based plastic surgeon who served as a speaker at the event, presented his six-month experience using QuadSay and shared treatment case studies. He also explained the device’s technical features and clinical applications compared to existing RF microneedling devices.
Viclara, set for launch in Europe this December, was also unveiled for the first time at the event. Viclara is an integrated platform that combines various skincare functions into a single device, focusing on expanding treatment options for clinics and enhancing operational efficiency. CLASSYS Inc. also introduced three dedicated ampoule solutions. The company plans to expand into the global market, starting with the launch in the European dermabrasion market.
This new product launch is part of a strategy to diversify the growth drivers of its European business. CLASSYS Inc. plans to expand its business scope into a comprehensive medical aesthetics company by adding RF microneedling and a skincare product line to its existing lifting business foundation, which was established with the High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) device “Ultraformer MPT” and the monopolar RF device “Volnume.”
According to the company, cumulative sales of the Ultraformer MPT and Volnume in Europe have exceeded 3,500 units. The goal for the fourth quarter of this year is to sell more than 350 additional units of these two products combined. The domestic product name for the Ultraformer MPT is “Shrink Universe.”
Expanding combined treatments that integrate existing devices is another pillar of the company’s European business strategy. Following the launch of “VolLink”—which combines VolNewma and Shrink—in the domestic market, CLASSYS Inc. is expanding its combined lifting treatments overseas through “VolFormer.”
CLASSYS Inc. explained that Volformer is expanding its presence in Europe as a premium combination treatment. The company also highlighted its potential as a non-invasive procedure to address the loss of skin elasticity in the face and body that can occur following weight loss achieved through GLP-1 agonists.
At this event, customized facial and body treatment protocols combining Ultraformer MPT and Volnume were introduced. Experiences with full-face treatments using 800 to 1,000 shots, tailored to the patient’s skin and tissue condition, were also shared.
CLASSYS Inc. plans to expand new product launches, collaboration with local medical professionals, clinical training, and partner marketing, focusing on key European countries. Following CEO Yoon Jun-oh’s appointment last July, Vice President Bae Jeong-hee, Head of the GTM Center, joined the company in mid-October, further strengthening the operational framework for global business expansion.
Yoon Jun-oh, CEO of CLASSYS Inc., stated, “QuadSay and V-Clara are strategic products that will play a key role in CLASSYS Inc.’s leap from a leading provider of lifting treatments to a comprehensive medical aesthetics company in Europe.” He added, “Based on the technological capabilities and trends of K-Medical Aesthetics, we will rapidly expand the adoption of these new products, continue our growth in the European market, and further strengthen our leadership in the global market.”
