[Edaily Reporter Oh Hee-na ] A program offering a glimpse into the growth journey of creators—from content production to monetization and engagement with their fanbase—will be featured at “2026 Content Universe Korea.” Four participants, including “Shinsama” (who has 16 million TikTok followers), traditional Korean medicine doctor Jeong Dae-jin, Crystal Lee, and Jak-sim-man-il, will share their growth experiences and monetization know-how. Organized in partnership with the Influencer Association, this program will feature creators and influencers active in various fields. They plan to share how content that originated on platforms and social media (SNS) has expanded into brands and intellectual property (IP). In particular, Shin Jae-yoon (Shin Sama) will share his growth journey through a session titled “Content: From Obscurity to 1 Million Followers.” Shin Sama is a mega-influencer with over 16 million followers on TikTok who recently became a hot topic by captivating fans and YouTube viewers with the unique pink visuals of his recently unveiled alter ego, “Ping Shin.” Jeong Dae-jin of Bomi Orahan Clinic will introduce his experience of balancing his professional career with content creation under the theme “Professionals: Never Missing Out on Either My Main Job or Content.” Lee Su-jeong will share her monetization experience of connecting content with commerce through “Commerce: I’m Revealing My Bank Statement.” Na Geon-il will discuss content creation and monetization strategies using artificial intelligence under the theme “AI Content: Monetization Strategies Using AI.” The influencers will also share their content creation experiences and examples of engaging with their fanbases. The event is expected to provide an opportunity to examine the trends of the rapidly evolving creator economy and the expansion potential of the content business. “2026 Content Universe Korea,” taking place on the 16th and 17th at the Goyang Flower Exhibition Hall in Ilsan Lake Park, will be held under the theme “The Infinitely Expanding Content Economy: Connecting Creators, IP, and Fandom.” Over the two days, the event will feature a series of lectures by 24 domestic and international experts, as well as various exhibition and hands-on programs, including a “Toy Story” pop-up store by The Walt Disney Company Korea and a flea market hosted by popular influencers. The admission fee is 10,000 won per person, but visitors can attend for free by pre-registering on the website by 5:00 p.m. on the 15th. A prize giveaway will also be held for pre-registered attendees, with winners selected by lottery to receive prizes such as international airline tickets and hotel stays.
