Earlier, on the 6th, she made a strong impression by walking the red carpet at the 31st Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).
Beom Do-ha showcased her versatile acting skills in the animated films “Earworm” and “Hwagoksa.” In “Earworm,” a grotesque portrayal of two women’s dreams and love, she played the role of Na Jeong, a character who unabashedly reveals her desires for love, art, and success. Beom Do-ha delicately portrayed Na Jeong, a character who harbors jealousy, admiration, and feelings of inferiority toward her closest friend, Jeong-yeon.
In particular, she took on the challenge of motion capture acting in *Earworm*. By infusing the film with multi-layered emotions, Beom Do-ha left a lasting impression on audiences.
In *Hwagoksa*, she played Hwang Mi-yeon, who works at a crematorium. *Hwagoksa* is a film that depicts the people left behind after the director of a crematorium—a place that bids farewell to the deceased—passes away.
Beom Do-ha skillfully navigated Mi-yeon’s range of emotions—from her bewilderment in the face of an unbelievable situation to her cheerful demeanor while selling goods—adding to the film’s appeal.
From the 9th to the 13th, Beom Do-ha was present at the GV events, connecting with the audience and fueling the excitement on-site through sincere discussions about her work.
In this way, Beom Do-ha showcased her unique acting style by delicately portraying the complex emotions of her characters in two films with distinct personalities and narratives. Having met with audiences in person during the film festival to discuss her work, all eyes are now on what Beom Do-ha will do next.
