On the 15th, the production team of the film *Still Radiant* announced in an official statement that the stage greetings by Kim Hye-ja and Director Song Il-gon had been canceled, stating, “The event was canceled due to unavoidable circumstances.”

The production team added, “The press screening will proceed as scheduled,” and asked for “your kind understanding.”

Kim Hye-ja had been scheduled to make a pre-screening appearance at 2:00 p.m. that day at Megabox COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, prior to the press screening of “Still Radiant,” but the event was canceled. According to entertainment industry sources, the cancellation was due to her poor physical condition.

The press conference following the screening will take place as scheduled, though Kim Hye-ja has decided not to attend. Park Seo-kyung, Choi Ju-eun, Moon Sung-hyun, Cha Mi-kyung, Jo Seong-ha, and director Song Il-gon will attend the press conference.

Previously, on the 6th, Kim Hye-ja appeared on the red carpet at the opening ceremony of the 31st Busan International Film Festival wearing a hanbok. At the time, concerns about her health arose as she was seen being supported by others and coughing frequently, but film officials dismissed these concerns, stating it was “just a common cold.”

“Still Radiant” marks Kim Hye-ja’s return to the big screen after a nine-year hiatus. The film tells the story of Soon-ok, who reunites with her best friend—with whom she shared the most radiant moments of her life—after 60 years.
