[Edaily Starin KIM HYUNSIK Reporter] KBS 2TV’s variety show “Happy Together—It’s Good Not to Be Alone” (“Happy Together”) wrapped up with viewership ratings in the 3% range.

According to Nielsen Korea on the 17th, the nationwide viewership rating for the final episode of “Happy Together,” which aired the previous day, was recorded at 3.3%. This marks the program’s highest viewership rating to date, having aired a total of 12 episodes since July 10.
“Happy Together” aired from 2001 to 2020, featuring a variety of segments such as “Schoolbag Talk,” “Tray Karaoke,” “Friends,” and “Sauna Talk.”
Revived after a seven-year hiatus, the show returned to viewers with a storytelling music audition concept featuring participants competing in teams. Yoo Jae-suk, Jang Hang-jun, and Yoon Jong-shin served as hosts.

The honor of the grand prize went to Do-Re-Mi, who performed Lee Seung-cheol’s “Amateur.” Do-Re-Mi is a vocal group based in Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province, that has performed at various local events. After securing 433 votes out of 500 cast by the audience, Do-Re-Mi shed tears as they shared their thoughts, saying, “We originally started performing at events just to make a living, but now we’ll take on the challenge of conquering the nation.”
