According to her agency, JYP Entertainment, on the 19th, Chaeryeong will release her first solo mini-album, “Lovesick,” on the 9th of next month.
Chaeryeong debuted in the music industry in December 2019 as a member of ITZY. This marks her first solo album release. Previously, ITZY members Yeji and Yuna have released solo albums.
The album features four tracks, including the title track of the same name, as well as “Moonlit Club,” “Scent,” and “Favorite Reason.” Chae-ryeong personally contributed to the lyrics of the track “Favorite Reason.”
On the same day, her agency released a trailer via its official social media channels, depicting the story of Chae-ryeong—who is usually indifferent to most things in the world—taking an interest in someone special for the first time.
Chaeryeong will host a live countdown at 5 p.m. on the day of her solo debut to interact with her fans.
