[Edaily Starin Gim Ga Yeong Reporter] “Dating Expert” Choo Young-woo and Kim So-hyun face a hurdle as their relationship begins.

On the 20th, the production team of the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama “Love Doctor” (directed by Ahn Pan-seok, written by Min Hyo-jeong, planned by KT Studio Genie, produced by Studio Goti) released stills ahead of the broadcast. The photos capture the chilly atmosphere between Park Min-jae (played by Choo Young-woo) and Im Yu-jin (played by Kim So-hyun), whose relationship has been rocky from the start. Additionally, a scene showing Im Yu-jin facing off against Park Min-jae’s mother, Hong Eun-ju (played by Shim Hye-jin), has been revealed, sparking curiosity.
In the previous episode, a decisive change occurred in the relationship between Park Min-jae and Im Yu-jin. Park Min-jae finally overcame his long hesitation and accepted Im Yu-jin’s true feelings. They decided to overcome the obstacles of reality and stay together until the end.
In the newly released photos, Park Min-jae and Im Yu-jin are seen having a serious conversation. The cold atmosphere between them is anything but ordinary. Im Yu-jin wears a frustrated and exasperated expression, while Park Min-jae looks at her as if he cannot understand her reaction. This raises questions about what could have happened to their relationship, which has only just begun.
Subsequently, a photo of Im Yu-jin meeting Park Min-jae’s mother, Hong Eun-ju, was also released. Unlike Hong Eun-ju, who wears an elegant and kind smile, Im Yu-jin’s expression as she looks at her appears somewhat stiff. In a previously released teaser, Im Yu-jin revealed her bold determination by declaring to Park Min-jae, “Park Min-jae is mine, so I’ll never let anyone take him away from me.” As her confident statement resonates with deep meaning, attention is focused on how this encounter with Hong Eun-ju will change the relationship between Park Min-jae and Im Yu-jin.
The production team stated, “The two young lovers, who have just started dating, begin to face and grapple with unexpected variables amid their excitement and innocence,” adding, “Real-life dating stories that anyone can relate to at least once will unfold.”
“Love Doctor” follows Min-jae, a doctoral student who was a high school swimmer but lost one leg to illness, and Yoo-jin, a master’s student who lost her sense of direction but has since embarked on a new path. It is a bittersweet romance between two young people that blossoms in a robotics lab. The series is also drawing attention as the late Director Ahn Pan-seok’s final work.
