[Edaily Starin KIM HYUNSIK Reporter] Singer Bolbbalgan4 (Ahn Ji-young) will release her ninth mini-album, “October Archive,” on the 22nd.

“October Archive” is an album featuring five tracks, including the title track “Golden Age,” as well as “Full Count,” “Quebec,” “Dawn Air,” and “Cat Star.” Bolbbalgan4 personally participated in writing the lyrics and composing all the songs. The digital tracks for the entire album will be released at 6 p.m. today via various online music platforms.
Their agency, Canvas, stated, “Volbalgan Satchun-gi took autumn—their favorite season—as their theme and expressed various forms of love through music.”
The title track, “Golden Age,” is a modern rock-style track written around the idea that “this very moment might be the most radiant time of our lives.” The lyrics convey the message that “in the end, it is love that makes us shine the brightest.” Actor Chae Jong-hyeop appeared in the music video.
Among the album’s tracks, “Full Count” was selected as the sub-title track. Drawing a parallel between a “full count”—the most tense moment in baseball—and life, the song conveys a message of encouragement: “Let’s not give up hope until the very last moment.”
Meanwhile, Bolbbalgan4 is set to kick off their 10th-anniversary tour, “Red Square.” After holding their first concert at KINTEX in Ilsan on the 7th and 8th of next month, they will tour cities including Jakarta, Melbourne, Sydney, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Tokyo through January of next year.
