[Edaily Reporter Gim Ga Yeong ] Actress Cha Ye-ryeon has been embroiled in allegations of school bullying, but she has denied the claims, even though they are not true.

On the 30th, Cha Ye-ryeon’s agency, HB Entertainment, told E-Daily, “The school violence allegations currently being raised are completely groundless.”
On the same day, a person identified as “A” posted on an online community, “The true nature of Actor C, a graduate of [School Name], is that of a school violence perpetrator and a member of a school gang,” adding, “It causes me pain to see her appearing on TV or YouTube with a smile, or being portrayed as a good wife, a good mother, an actress who cooks well, or a healthy role model.”
Ms. A, who is currently receiving treatment at a psychiatric clinic and taking medication for depression and anxiety, also said, “It breaks my heart to see that while I, the victim, am suffering from trauma, the perpetrator lives on, loved by the public as if nothing ever happened.”
In particular, she referred to C as a “demon,” claiming, “He bullied me constantly—at the back of the classroom, in the restroom, on the playground, and near the school. He would borrow my gym clothes and textbooks and never return them; when I asked for them back, he would yell and curse at me.”
She added, “The beatings always took place in buildings near the school. That person viciously focused on hitting my cheeks, causing my eardrums to rupture and my cheeks to swell up,” and stated, “If they spout nonsense claiming this is ‘groundless,’ I will submit testimonies from former classmates and additional evidence.”
In response to these allegations, the agency has maintained that they are untrue.
