[Edaily Starin Gim Ga Yeong Reporter] BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, actors Um Ji-won, Ahn Eun-jin, and Heo Sung-tae will appear as guests on tvN’s “Bogum Magical 2.”
On the 30th, the production team of tvN’s “Bo-gum Magical 2” released a teaser featuring the lineup of daily part-time workers.
First, the appearance of Jisoo, who has gained global popularity, catches the eye. This will be Jisoo’s first time appearing alongside Park Bo-gum on a variety show. The teaser shows Jisoo appearing with a bright smile and blending naturally with the three brothers. Jisoo is expected to bring vitality to the small seaside village hair salon with her approachable charm, which is quite different from her glamorous stage persona.
Actress Um Ji-won has previously revealed herself to be a die-hard fan of last season’s “Bo-gum Magical.” She has also expressed her extraordinary admiration for Park Bo-gum, describing him as a “heavenly being.” Curiosity is mounting over what kind of role Um Ji-won, appearing as a one-day part-timer, will play at the hair salon.
Ahn Eun-jin will also visit the seaside village hair salon. Ahn Eun-jin and Lee Sang-yi are classmates from the Korea National University of Arts (K-Arts). Having showcased her unique, bright energy and capable demeanor on the tvN variety show “Unnie’s Direct from the Farm,” attention is focused on how she will perform at the hair salon.
Heo Seong-tae also appears as a one-day part-timer. Having demonstrated the sharp wit and exceptional communication skills expected of a former corporate executive on the tvN variety show “Busan Country Boy in Sydney,” viewers are curious to see how he will contribute to the salon’s operations. In particular, since he previously worked alongside Park Bo-gum and Lee Sang-yi in the drama “Good Boy,” there is keen interest in seeing what kind of chemistry the three will display upon reuniting.
“Bo-gum Magical” follows Park Bo-gum—who holds a national hairdressing license—along with his close friends Lee Sang-yi and Kwak Dong-yeon as they run a special hair salon in a remote rural village, styling both hair and hearts. The show premiered last January, recording a peak viewership rating of 3.5% and offering viewers lighthearted fun and a sense of healing.
Buoyed by its popularity, Season 2 is set to feature Park Bo-gum, who has obtained his national hairdressing certification and will even perform perm treatments. Additionally, Kwak Dong-yeon, who appeared in Season 1, has left the cast, and Go Kyung-pyo has joined as a new cast member.
The first episode will air this coming Sunday, November 29, at 7:45 p.m.
