[Edaily Reporter Gim Ga Yeong ] Actor Lee Sang-i will make a special appearance in “A Romance Other Than You” for his classmate from the Korea National University of Arts (K-Arts), Ahn Eun-jin.

On the 31st, the production team of KBS2’s “A Romance Other Than You” announced that Lee Sang-i would appear on the show that day, explaining, “This appearance came about through his connection with Ahn Eun-jin, a classmate with whom he is well-known as part of K-Arts’ ‘Legendary Class of 2010.’” The two have previously appeared together on other variety shows, sharing anecdotes from their school days and bringing laughter with their easy chemistry. Anticipation is building to see what kind of on-screen chemistry these two actors, who have maintained a long-standing friendship, will display in this scene.
Behind-the-scenes photos released ahead of the broadcast capture the two looking cheerful as they stand side by side. Lee Sang-yi strikes a “V” pose toward the camera, while Ahn Eun-jin makes a playful expression with her palm open, as if introducing him. The released stills also show Lee Sang-yi and Lee Mi-do (played by Ahn Eun-jin) sitting across from each other. Lee Sang-yi, who seems somewhat flushed as he strikes up a conversation, and Lee Mi-do, who calmly gazes at him, catch the viewer’s eye. The contrast in their expressions sparks curiosity about what they might be discussing and what kind of character Lee Sang-yi will portray.
In the previous episode, Lee Mi-do retracted her earlier warning to Namgung Ho (played by Seo Kang-jun) not to like Park Soo-ah (played by Jo Ah-ram) and expressed her hope that he would make the choice he wanted. She also expressed her sincere feelings to Han Tae-seung (played by Lee Ju-an), asking him to ensure she wouldn’t regret having liked him. However, after witnessing the moment Namgung Ho was about to kiss Park Su-ah, viewers are left wondering what choice she will make once “A Different Kind of Romance for a Month” comes to an end.
The KBS2 Saturday-Sunday miniseries “A Different Romance Besides You” is a realistic melodrama that resonates with viewers, depicting a couple in their tenth year of dating as they confront unfamiliar emotions. It has garnered attention for its unconventional premise: a long-term couple agrees to date other people for one month. The series stars Seo Kang-joon, Ahn Eun-jin, Lee Ju-an, and Jo Ah-ram. It airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:20 p.m.
