CP SYSTEM’s ultra-high-purity cable protection solution, “G-Clean Chain,” has been adopted as the standard specification for the production facility. As a result, the company will supply its products to eight major equipment manufacturers delivering production facilities, thereby entering the supply chain for the global automaker’s next-generation hydrogen mobility production facilities.
Supply will be conducted through equipment manufacturers. CP SYSTEM will supply G-Clean Chain to the eight equipment manufacturers responsible for pre- and post-process production facilities, and each equipment manufacturer will then install it on their equipment before delivering it to the automaker. This means the company has secured a foundation that allows for application across multiple processes within the production facility, going beyond simply supplying products to individual pieces of equipment.
This supply aligns with the expansion of a global automaker’s hydrogen fuel cell business. The company is broadening the application of hydrogen fuel cells to include not only hydrogen passenger and commercial vehicles but also construction equipment and ships. It is also expanding investments in related production facilities as it moves to establish large-scale production hubs in South Korea.
G-CleanChain is a high-purity cable protection product designed to minimize the generation of fine dust. It is engineered to be suitable for hydrogen fuel cell production processes, where maintaining a clean environment is critical. CP SYSTEM recently received verification of the cleanroom suitability of its entire G-CleanChain product line from Germany’s Fraunhofer IPA, confirming that it meets the standards of ISO Class 1—the highest cleanliness rating.
CP SYSTEM expects to expand its supply following this adoption of standard specifications. The company believes there is potential for additional orders not only for G-CleanChain but also for key product lines such as Roboway and flame-retardant tubing, driven by the automaker’s production line expansions and additional equipment investments.
A CP SYSTEM official stated, “Being adopted as a standard specification for the production facilities of a global automaker is a testament to the recognition of G-CleanChain’s high-purity technology and product competitiveness,” adding, “With this entry into the hydrogen mobility production facility supply chain, we will continue to expand the supply of high-value-added cable protection solutions across the entire advanced manufacturing industry.”
