(Photo = JTBC) In Episode 5 of the JTBC Saturday-Sunday drama “Final Table,” set to air on the 7th, “Familia” Head Chef Kang Han (played by Ahn Hyo-seop) and CEO Choi Song-i (played by Hong Hwa-yeon) visit a secluded mountain cabin and are set to retrieve a mysterious object.
“Team Familia”—comprising Kang Han, Choi Song-i, Choi Doo-young (played by Kim Jae-hwa), and Park Geon-woo (played by Lee Bong-jun)—creatively interpreted the theme of Round 1 and created the dish that best suited the mission. By incorporating traditional soybean paste—which, due to its strong aroma and flavor, is rarely used in Western cuisine—into the Italian dish ravioli, they fostered harmony across generations and secured first place; as a result, high expectations are set for their performance in Round 2.
Amidst this, with the Round 2 recording just one day away, Kang Han and Choi Song-i hint at a secret outing together, unbeknownst to their teammates. In the released photos, Kang Han and Choi Song-i can be seen stepping into someone’s cabin, heightening curiosity about why the two have come here and what their intentions might be.
In particular, standing in front of the cabin, Kang Han and Choi Song-i are exchanging mysterious glances while each holding a massive earthenware jar and a black plastic bag. They’ve discovered a secret weapon—something you’d never find in the city—to complete the mission for Round 2’s theme, “Light of the Prairie.”
Meanwhile, the two are seen descending the mountain with broad smiles on their faces, making viewers even more curious about the nature of this secret weapon. Attention is focused on what exactly is inside the traditional earthenware jar and the black bag they brought from the cabin, and how Kang Han and Choi Song-i will utilize these items in the survival competition.
