Yangpa recently successfully concluded the 2026 Yangpa Orchestra Concert “Together,” held at the Centennial Memorial Hall Concert Hall at Yonsei University in Seoul.

A special highlight of the performance was an AI video created in collaboration with the content creator Fantasoner. Fantasoner used AI technology to recreate the time when the 17-year-old Yangpa was recording her debut song, “A Youngster’s Love,” bringing that moment from 29 years ago back to life on stage.

The video captured young Yangpa, dressed in her school uniform, recording in the studio amid a mix of nervousness and excitement. It vividly brought to life the moment Yangpa’s musical career began, delicately portraying the innocence of a high school girl on the verge of her debut and the emotions she felt at the time.

Next, a video message from the present-day Yangpa to her younger self was unveiled. Offering comfort and encouragement to her past self, Yangpa sang “A Novice’s Love” alongside the 17-year-old Yangpa on the screen. As the two—separated by 29 years—came together through a single song, audience members could be seen wiping away tears.

This performance held particular significance because it went beyond using AI technology merely for visual effects, instead integrating it with the artist’s autobiographical narrative. Fantasoner’s delicate video direction, combined with the orchestra’s rich sound, heightened the audience’s immersion in the performance.

The appearances of special guests also added to the excitement of the show. On the first day of the concert, singer-songwriter Jeon Jin-hee, who served as the concert’s artistic director, took the stage and conveyed deep emotion, while on the second day, actor Kim Nam-gil made a surprise appearance as a guest, receiving a rapturous reception from the audience.

In particular, Yangpa and Kim Nam-gil heated up the atmosphere with their natural and cheerful chemistry. During the performance, they exchanged ideas about future musical experiments and collaborations, sparking curiosity about their upcoming projects together.

In this way, “Together,” which encapsulated Yangpa’s 29-year musical journey, presented a highly polished performance by combining the live sounds of an orchestra and a band with AI video direction by the creative studio Fantasoner. With Yangpa set to mark her 30th debut anniversary next year, all eyes are on what musical path she will take next.
