[Edaily Reporter YUN GI BACK ] Singer Song Ha-ye and YouTuber Jo Mae-ryeok (real name Jo Jang-woo) are getting married today (the 8th).

The couple will hold their wedding ceremony this afternoon at a wedding hall in Seoul. Both born in 1994, they announced their engagement last August and are now starting a new life together as husband and wife.
On the 7th, the day before the wedding, Jo Maeryeok shared his thoughts on social media, saying, “I’m getting married tomorrow. Thanks to the help of so many people, we’re pulling it off nicely. I’m grateful.” Song Ha-ye also expressed her excitement ahead of the wedding, saying, “We’re getting married tomorrow.”
Song Ha-ye announced her marriage last August by posting a handwritten letter on social media. She stated, “I’m now going to build the ‘home’ I’ve always dreamed of in my heart, though it was also something I feared,” adding, “I’m getting married this year because I’ve met someone who cherishes me just as I am and stands by my side no matter what.”
Jo Maeryeok also shared, “Everything still feels a bit awkward, but we’ll love each other for a long, long time and live a beautiful life together,” adding, “We’d be overjoyed if you could warmly bless our journey ahead.”
Song Ha-ye debuted in 2014 with “It’s My First Time” and gained popularity in 2019 when “News About You” climbed to the top of the music charts. Jo Mae-ryeok is a YouTube creator who produces content centered on music. Song Ha-ye appeared on Jo Mae-ryeok’s YouTube channel last March.
