[Edaily Reporter YUN GI BACK ] The group Kiki received the “Grand Honors Choice Award,” one of the highest honors, at the “2026 Korea Grand Music Awards” (2026 KGMA).

KIKI was named the winner in the “Grand Honors Choice” category during “Music Day,” the second day of the “2026 KGMA,” held on the 8th at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul.
Kiki has taken the K-pop scene by storm with her unique musicality, reaching the top of the charts just one year after her debut. With this win, Kiki has achieved a triple crown, winning the Grand Honors Choice Award, Best Music Award, and Best Streaming Song Award.
Kiki stated, “It is an honor to receive such a prestigious and meaningful ‘Grand Honors Choice’ award. Above all, I want to express my gratitude to my members, who are always by my side, and to my beloved fans, who consistently support me.” She added, “There are so many people I am grateful to. It is thanks to the support and love of our fans that we were able to receive such a great award.”
She continued, “Going forward, the five of us will practice, study, and work even harder to bring you many beautiful performances,” and pledged, “We will repay the immense love we’ve received with our unique music and content, and strive to be a Kiki that lives up to your expectations.”
The ‘KGMA’ is an awards ceremony newly established in 2024 by Ilgan Sports (Edaily M)—which celebrated its 57th anniversary this year—to present a new paradigm for the South Korean pop music industry. Now in its third year, this year’s ceremony was hosted by Ilgan Sports and co-organized by the KGMA Organizing Committee and Creatorling.
On the second day, “Music Day,” NEXZ, RISE, Minho, Park Ji-hyun, BILLIE, Ahop, Alpha Drive One, A.N., ATEEZ, Waytion V, Yuna, ITZY, Choi Ye-na, Kiss of Life, Kiki, Kickflip, Touched, TOURS, and Hearts to Hearts will take the stage. Shenu from Shenu X Hyungwon will be absent due to health reasons, and Hyungwon along with some other members of MONSTA X will attend in his place. IVE’s Liz and actor Kim Jae-won will serve as MCs.
The “KGMA” music and album data is provided by Hanteo Chart, Genie Music, FLO, and Bugs, and the official fan vote will be conducted via the Kugung app. The event will be broadcast live on ENA. In Japan, it will be streamed live on Hulu Japan, and globally (excluding Japan and China), it will be streamed live on TikTok Live.
