[Edaily Reporter YUN GI BACK ] The group ATEEZ received the “Grand Record Award,” one of the highest honors, at the “2026 Korea Grand Music Awards” (2026 KGMA).

On the 8th, during “Music Day”—the second day of the “2026 KGMA” held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul—ATEEZ was named the winner of the “Grand Record” category, which is awarded to groups recognized for their high-quality albums and musical achievements. This marks their third consecutive year winning a Grand Award. At this year’s awards ceremony, they achieved the remarkable feat of winning three awards: Grand Record, Best Music, and Best Stage.
ATEEZ stated, “First and foremost, we’d like to thank A-Tiny (our fanbase) for making it possible for us to receive such a prestigious award. The journey to this moment hasn’t been easy, but we’re able to stand here today thanks to the fans who have loved our performances and music.”
They continued, “We will take this award not only as recognition of our efforts so far but also as encouragement to deliver even better performances and music in the future,” and pledged, “We will continue to show our best side, true to who we are as ATEEZ.”
ATEEZ also expressed their gratitude, saying, “Although more people have come to recognize and love us, this didn’t happen overnight. Every performance was heartfelt and precious to us,” and added, “We received this valuable award thanks to A-Tiny, who has cheered us on by our side for the past eight years.”
They continued, “We want to make the next seven years—as we’ve promised—a source of fond memories for ATNI. On days when we’re struggling or exhausted, if looking back on today brings back fond memories of ATEEZ, that alone will give us the strength to get through our performances,” adding, “We’ll really give it our all.”
Finally, he urged, “ATEEZ still has a lot to show you. This is just the beginning. We’ll continue to work hard, so please cheer us on.”
The ‘KGMA’ is an awards ceremony newly established in 2024 by Ilgan Sports (Edaily M)—which celebrated its 57th anniversary this year—to present a new paradigm for the South Korean pop music industry. Now in its third year, this year’s ceremony was hosted by Ilgan Sports and co-organized by the KGMA Organizing Committee and Creatoring.
On the second day, “Music Day,” NEXZ, RISE, Minho, Park Ji-hyun, BILLIE, Ahop, Alpha Drive One, A.N., ATEEZ, Waytion V, Yuna, ITZY, Choi Ye-na, Kiss of Life, Kiki, Kickflip, Touched, TOURS, and Hearts to Hearts will take the stage. Shenu from Shenu X Hyungwon will be absent due to health reasons, and Hyungwon along with some other members of MONSTA X will attend in his place. IVE’s Liz and actor Kim Jae-won will serve as MCs.
The “KGMA” music and album data is provided by Hanteo Chart, Genie Music, FLO, and Bugs, while the official fan voting will take place via the KooGung app. The event will be broadcast live on ENA. In Japan, it will be streamed live on Hulu Japan, and globally (excluding Japan and China), it will be streamed live on TikTok Live.
