SKT announced on the 4th that it has joined Anthropic’s “Project Glasswing,” an international collaboration framework where global companies jointly verify cyber vulnerabilities and establish response systems.
Through this project, SKT has gained early access to “Claude Mythos,” Anthropic’s next-generation high-performance AI model. SKT plans to leverage Claude Mythos’s advanced computational and analytical capabilities to proactively defend against cyber threats and elevate the security standards of its entire infrastructure and services to the highest global level.
SKT is currently conducting thorough pre-deployment testing in accordance with its strict internal regulations and management guidelines to ensure that this new high-performance AI technology can be safely integrated into actual services.
Anthropic has decided to expand the scope of Project Glasswing to include companies and institutions from more than 15 countries. In addition to South Korea, the list now includes Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Sweden, India, and Japan.
Among domestic companies, in addition to SKT, #Samsung Electronics and #SK Hynix are reported to have been granted access to Mitos.
An SK Telecom official stated, "As a company operating telecommunications and AI infrastructure that is integral to the daily lives of tens of millions of people, we will contribute to strengthening South Korea’s digital security based on this collaboration."
