[Edaily Reporter Ahn Yu-ri] Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, is set to meet with South Korean game developer #Krafton.

According to the IT industry on the 4th, CEO Huang will meet with Krafton Chairman Jang Byung-kyu, CAIO (Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer) Lee Kang-wook, and Jang Tae-seok, Head of the 'Battlegrounds' IP Franchise, in Seoul this week.

The meeting between the executives of the two companies is expected to discuss gaming collaborations based on NVIDIA’s recently unveiled AI PC brand, “RTX Spark,” including physical AI.

Krafton has been collaborating closely with NVIDIA for some time. Last April, CEO Kim Chang-han visited NVIDIA’s headquarters in California to discuss directions for next-generation technology cooperation, including robotics.

In October of the same year, following Krafton’s declaration of an “AI-first” strategy, the company announced plans to build a cluster based on NVIDIA’s latest GPU, the B300 (Blackwell Ultra).

As NVIDIA seeks to strengthen its collaboration on physical AI in Korea, Krafton has established a subsidiary called “Ludo Robotics” in San Francisco, USA, and is accelerating the commercialization of physical AI.

The “RTX Spark” AI PC brand, recently unveiled by NVIDIA at GTC Taipei, is another area where technological collaboration with Krafton is drawing attention.

The RTX Spark is equipped with the "N1 X," a CPU-GPU integrated chipset developed by NVIDIA in collaboration with MediaTek. With 128GB of high-capacity integrated memory and AI computing performance reaching 1 petaflop, it can run AI agents without an internet connection.

Krafton has introduced "PUBG Ally," a feature that allows players to enjoy its flagship title "PUBG: Battlegrounds" alongside AI, and has also added the "Smart Joy" feature to the life simulation game "inZOI," where game characters think and act like real people.

Both features adopt the "On-Device AI" approach, which performs computations directly on the device without going through the cloud. It is anticipated that the local AI computing power of NVIDIA’s N1 X will serve as a catalyst for the widespread adoption of AI features in games like PUBG and inZOI.

CEO Hwang is scheduled to arrive in Korea on the evening of the 4th and meet with key business leaders, including SK Group Chairman Choi Tae-won, LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo, and Naver Chairman Lee Hae-jin, on the 5th. He is also scheduled to meet with NCSoft CEO Kim Taek-jin on the 7th to discuss cooperation in the field of physical AI.
