Netmarble Sells Guro 'G-Tower' for 697.7 Billion Won… Relocates to New Headquarters in Gwacheon

"Asset Portfolio Restructuring to Secure Liquidity" Relocation to New Headquarters in Gwacheon in the Second Quarter of 2028

[Edaily Reporter Ahn Yu-ri] #Netmarble is selling its headquarters, "G Tower," located in Guro, Seoul, for 697.7 billion won. Netmarble plans to relocate to its new headquarters, currently under construction in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province, by the second quarter of 2028.

Netmarble announced on the 4th that it will sell G-Tower, located in Guro-dong, Guro-gu, Seoul, for 697.7 billion won on the 12th. This amount represents 8% of its total assets.

The buyer is NH Investment & Securities, which is participating in the transaction in its capacity as the trustee of G-VESCO General Real Estate Investment Trust No. 4.

G Tower is a 39-story building with seven basement levels, and Netmarble and Coway have been tenants there since 2021.

Netmarble plans to move into its new headquarters, currently under construction in Knowledge Block 9 of the Gwacheon Galhyeon-dong Knowledge Information Town, in the second quarter of 2028. Even after the sale of G Tower, Netmarble employees will continue to work at G Tower until they move into the new headquarters.

The new headquarters, with a total floor area of approximately 129,083 square meters, is being constructed as a 6-story underground and 15-story above-ground building and is scheduled for completion next year.

A Netmarble spokesperson stated, “The sale of G-Tower was pursued to streamline the management of our assets and secure financial flexibility, and we intend to use this opportunity to restructure our asset portfolio.”
