[Edaily Reporter Shin Su-jeong] Pulmuone is launching a low-calorie noodle product that can be stored at room temperature, expanding its Zero Noodles lineup.

#Pulmuone announced on the 5th that it has launched “Slim Fit Soy Noodles,” a low-calorie noodle product that can be stored at room temperature and contains 25 kcal per pack, through its plant-based food brand, Pulmuone Earth Diet. This move expands the Zero Noodles product line, which previously focused on refrigerated items, into the room-temperature category.

Slim Fit Soy Noodles contain 25 kcal per 150g pack. They are made with 100% domestically produced soybeans and contain no wheat flour. The product contains no added sugars and is enriched with dietary fiber and calcium.

Pulmuone explained that it preserved the noodles’ texture by extruding them into thin strands at high temperatures of 90°C or higher. The product can be eaten immediately after draining the water, without any additional cooking. It can be stored at room temperature for up to 180 days, making it suitable for long-term storage at home or for outdoor activities.

Targeting summer demand, Pulmuone also launched two Slim Fit Soybean Noodle kits: the Refreshing and Clean Dongchimi Cold Noodles and the Spicy and Tangy Bibim Noodles. The Dongchimi Cold Noodles contain 100 kcal per serving, while the Bibim Noodles contain 80 kcal.

The Dongchimi Cold Noodles feature noodles made from domestic soybeans and buckwheat, topped with a dongchimi broth made from domestic radishes. The Bibim Noodles are a low-sugar product featuring a bibim sauce made with fruits such as apples, pears, limes, and lemons.

Yoon Myung-rang, Head of Global Marketing at Pulmuone Foods, stated, “As interest in healthy diet management continues to grow, we have launched ‘Slim Fit Soybean Noodles,’ made with 100% domestic soybeans, for a light and enjoyable meal.” He added, “Pulmuone Earth Diet will continue to expand its product lineup by introducing various forms of zero-calorie noodle products that support sustainable eating habits.”
