Kim Jae-young, Chairman of Zetema and an alumnus of Kyung Hee University’s College of Pharmacy, has been supporting scholarship programs for his alma mater’s students since 2018. The company provides a total of 10 million won in scholarships annually and is committed to fostering talent in the bio-industry.

About 30 students from Kyung Hee University’s College of Pharmacy, including scholarship recipients, attended this year’s event. Going beyond simply presenting scholarships, Zetema invited the students to its headquarters to participate in an industry-academia exchange program.

Following the scholarship award ceremony, the event proceeded with a special lecture by Chairman Kim Jae-young, a tour of the research laboratory, and a company and career orientation session.

In his lecture, Chairman Kim shared his experiences from graduating from the College of Pharmacy to founding the company, as well as Zetema’s growth journey and the outlook for the bio-industry, emphasizing the importance of challenge and innovation.

The students toured the R&D facilities firsthand and engaged in a Q&A session with staff members, deepening their understanding of the industry and exploring potential career paths.

Kim Jae-young, Chairman of Zetema, stated, “It is important to support our juniors so they can grow by gaining broad experience in the industry based on their academic capabilities,” adding, “We will continue to provide various forms of support so that the talents who will lead the future bio-industry can realize their dreams.”
