[Edaily Reporter Kwon Oh-seok] Global medical aesthetics specialist #Classis announced on the 5th that it attracted the attention of global investors at the “Jefferies Healthcare Conference” held in the U.S. Kim Rae-hee, Executive Vice President and Head of Marketing at Classis, delivered a presentation at the Jefferies Healthcare Conference in the U.S. on the 4th (local time). (Photo = Classis) The Jefferies Healthcare Conference is Europe’s largest healthcare conference, serving as a global platform where over 500 companies and more than 3,000 investors from around the world gather to discuss industry trends and investment opportunities. While invitations have traditionally been extended primarily to major global pharmaceutical and biotech companies, Classis—South Korea’s leading aesthetic medical device company—participated in this event, reaffirming its status as a global player in the aesthetic medical device sector. At the event, Kim Rae-hee, Head of Marketing at Classis (Executive Vice President, pictured), took the stage as a presenter to introduce Classis’s differentiated competitive strengths in driving the global expansion of K-aesthetic medical devices. Last year, Classis surpassed 300 cumulative installations of its monopolar radiofrequency (MRF) devices in the North American market. Following the launch of its microneedle radiofrequency (MNRF) devices this year, the company sold over 100 units of MRF and MNRF devices combined in the first quarter alone. With approval for high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) equipment expected next year, projections indicate that North America’s share of total revenue will expand to around 15% by 2030. The company explains that, alongside growing global interest in K-Beauty, Classis’s unique combination treatment protocols have gained word-of-mouth popularity among local medical professionals and consumers, leading to a significant increase in customer retention rates. This treatment was also featured by the U.S. business magazine Forbes as one of the “most popular aesthetic medical procedures.” With a series of research papers published to demonstrate the clinical efficacy of the company’s flagship products, Everes (known domestically as “Volnume”) and “QuadSay,” global brand awareness is rapidly growing through advertisements in locations such as New York’s Times Square and Hollywood. As K-Beauty has emerged as an investment theme encompassing global healthcare and high-growth Asian markets, attention has also focused on the global treatment trends led by Classis. Expectations for Classis’s mid- to long-term growth are also rising. According to the company, with sales of QuadSay recently gaining momentum in major markets such as the U.S. and Thailand, it is accelerating market expansion with the goal of reaching 1,000 units in global sales this year. Sales of Ultraformer (known domestically as “Shurink Universe”) and Volnume are growing rapidly, particularly in major European countries. In Japan, the company is on the verge of securing orders from large clinic chains, and in China, approval for Volnume is expected within the year. A Classis official explained, “Based on this, we expect annual global sales of these two products to exceed 5,000 units, and the likelihood of achieving this year’s annual revenue guidance of 490 billion won has also increased significantly.”
