[Edaily Reporter Lee Seon-woo] Medical Fair China (MFC) and REHACARE China will be held from August 20 to 22 at the Suzhou International Expo Center in Jiangsu Province. This is a specialized medical and rehabilitation industry exhibition held in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province—a leading medical and biotech hub featuring a large-scale industrial park housing over 1,400 companies in the medical device and bio-rehabilitation sectors. Within China, the event has garnered significant attention as a B2B platform spanning the medical device and rehabilitation welfare industries, with a 44% surge in visitors—including domestic and international buyers—as of last year.

The “Medical Device Innovation Exhibition” (MFC), held in a 18,000-square-meter exhibition hall with participation from over 350 domestic and international companies, will showcase a wide range of technologies and products, from medical devices to digital healthcare, rehabilitation robots, and senior care. The range of products is also diverse, spanning medical consumables, artificial intelligence (AI), digital healthcare, wearable devices, surgical robots, minimally invasive treatment technologies, in vitro diagnostics (IVD), and point-of-care testing (POCT). Notably, this year’s event will feature special pavilions showcasing the latest trends in China’s medical industry, including home healthcare, medical manufacturing, in vitro diagnostics, and services supporting overseas expansion.

The concurrently held “REHACARE China” is an event that encompasses the entire rehabilitation and long-term care industry, featuring rehabilitation hospital equipment, physical therapy equipment, rehabilitation robots, mobility aids, smart home solutions, long-term care and nursing services, and senior care solutions. Over 200 domestic and international companies will set up exhibition booths in the 15,000-square-meter exhibition hall. Notable participants include Sonova, a global leader in hearing rehabilitation; Intco, a leading Chinese medical device company; Kaiyang, a specialist in mobility aids; Hubang, a specialist in rehabilitation equipment; Kangni, a provider of mobility aids and smart rehabilitation solutions; medical furniture and rehabilitation equipment company ‘Pukang,’ and rehabilitation robotics specialist ‘RoboCT’ are among the leading participants.

Korean companies are also using this event to explore opportunities for entering the Chinese medical device and rehabilitation market. At the event venue, the Comprehensive Support Center for Enterprises of Persons with Disabilities, under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, will participate by setting up a Korean Pavilion. A VIP program will also be offered during the event, including travel subsidies for buyer groups of five or more.
