Through this agreement, they plan to collaborate to enable youth to directly experience cutting-edge technologies such as AI and robotics and carry out problem-solving-focused projects.
This competition is one of the main programs of the “National AI Competition,” designed to allow all citizens to experience AI in an easy and enjoyable way. It was planned to enable young people, including elementary, middle, and high school students, to experience the process of solving real-life problems using AI and robotics technologies.
Registration and preliminary rounds will run through September. Participants who pass the preliminaries will advance to the finals in November, and the final awards ceremony will be held in December. The total prize pool for the competition is 40 million won, which will be awarded to participants who demonstrate outstanding ideas and technical implementation capabilities.
The Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science & Creativity expects that through this competition, young people will not only learn technology but also gain experience in creatively solving social and everyday problems using AI and robots.
