[Edaily Reporter Shin Ha-yeon] #HPO subsidiary and dermocosmetic brand JOODOC announced on the 9th that it has opened a store at "Be CLEAN," a clean beauty concept store located in Hyundai Department Store’s The Hyundai Seoul.

Be CLEAN is a clean beauty specialty boutique operated by Hyundai Department Store, showcasing domestic and international brands carefully selected based on sustainability and safety.

Through this launch, the company aims to expand its reach not only to domestic customers but also to international tourists seeking K-Beauty products. The Hyundai Seoul has established itself as a premier shopping destination, attracting visitors from 182 countries last year, and the influx of global tourists continues to grow, with foreign sales in the first quarter of this year increasing by 121% compared to the same period last year.

JooDak also laid the groundwork for its entry into the North American market earlier this year by officially launching on Amazon, the world’s largest e-commerce platform. The company plans to use this launch at Be CLEAN as an opportunity to build a global distribution network spanning both online and offline channels, thereby increasing brand awareness in overseas markets.

JooDak is a medical self-care brand founded on the 15 years of clinical and medical experience of CEO Lee Joo-hee, a dermatologist. The brand focuses on developing products centered on skin barrier restoration and offers products suitable even for sensitive skin by verifying the safety and efficacy of all ingredients.

The products now available on V-Clean are the flagship cleansing line items, "Rose Gentle Cleansing Milk" and "Propolis Gentle Cleansing Foam." Both products have recorded steady sales at Olive Young and have established themselves as the brand’s signature items.

Joo Dak CEO Lee Joo-hee stated, “Joo Dak, which pursues safe ingredients and the skin’s inherent health, will now be able to reach not only domestic consumers but also international tourists through its launch on V-Clean.” She added, “We will continue to expand our distribution channels so that more customers can experience the self-care routines recommended by dermatologists.”
